New: Subheadings in Choices

You probably know The Family History Guide routine pretty well by now: Projects are divided into Goals, which are divided into Choices, which contain steps (and article and video links). That covers the bases pretty well, except for one item: sometimes there may be more than one topic in a Choice. This tends to be the case with some of the Country pages.

To help with that, we’ve begun adding sub-headings in places where they can be of the most help. So far, there are subheadings in many of the Choices for the United States and Canada, as well as countries in the British Isles and Scandinavia. An added benefit of the sub-headings is that they are searchable in The Family History Guide, using the Search link in the header area of any page.

Here’s an example from the United States page, Goal B4, Choice D (Vital Records – Marriage). Subheadings for “Female Ancestors and Maiden Names” and “Divorce Records” have been added:

Stay tuned for more sub-headings in Country and other Project pages in The Family History Guide.
