Update: Tracker Links and County Links

We’ve recently added a number of useful links to The Family history Guide, in two categories:

  • Word Tracker sheets
  • County resources for U.S. state pages

Word Trackers

The Word Tracker sheets list all the Goals and Choices for each Project in The Family History Guide. We have added links to each Goal title in the Trackers, so you can go directly from the Tracker to the Goal in the website, without having to navigate to that spot. A partial example is shown below; click a blue link to open the corresponding location in The Family History Guide.

The next step is adding similar links from the Online Tracker to Goals in The Famiy History Guide—look for that in the future.

County Resources from GenealogyInc

The GenealogyInc website has quite a few useful resources, particularly for counties in U.S. states. These include links to some interesting historical maps that show county boundary changes through the years.

At the bottom of each of our U.S. state pages, we have featured links from FamilySearch, Ancestry, and Linkpendium. Now we’ve added “G” for GenealogyInc. to each county link collection. As an example, click the image below to go to the California county feature in The Family History Guide; from there, you can browse the different county resources, including the new GenealogyInc links (marked by the letter “G”).
