Welcome to Natalie Gibby, New TFHGA Intern
We are excited to announce a new intern for The Family History Guide Association – Natalie Gibby. Natalie joins us from the History Department at Brigham Young University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Family History and will be graduating soon.
Here are some interesting facts about Natalie:
- Her final two years of high school were at the Dalian American International School, Dalian, Liaoning, China.
- She has intermediate level skills in programming with Python.
- She is at an intermediate level with written and spoken Mandarin Chinese.
- She was a Research Assistant at the BYU Center for Family History and Genealogy, and worked on the Nauvoo Community Project documenting the residents of Nauvoo, Illinois from 1839 to 1846.
- She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Arcadia, California.
Her current projects with The Family History Guide include enhancing the Knowledgebase and the “I Have a Question” and Guided Learning videos on the site.
