New Videos for Quick Research Basics and Show Me

There are two new videos this week on our YouTube Channel:

England Civil Registration

We are excited to have Kathryn Grant as the creator and narrator of this new Quick Research Basics (QRB) video. She is an instructional designer and genealogy expert, well-known for her webinars at the BYU Family History Library and her blog articles on the FamilySearch.org site. Her next QRB video is for working with England census records.

Merging Records

The new Show Me video for Merging Records is an update to the older version, using the streamlined screen movements. It was produced by James Tanner, who has 35 Show Me videos and 13 QRB videos to his credit, with more on the way.

A Coincidence?

This coming Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. Mountain time, Kathryn Grant will present a free online Zoom class for the Sandy Granite family history center. The topic? You guessed it – “Resolving Duplicates in Family Tree,” which has everything to do with merging records. Sometimes the stars align!
