New: Printing Fresh Sheets for the Online Tracker

The Online Tracker is a powerful and handy tool that enables you to keep track of your learning progress in The Family History Guide. You can learn more about this database in the Online Tracker Help pages.

Recently we received a user request that asked about printing blank (fresh) copies of Online Tracker pages, without having to remove existing user information beforehand. Having a fresh pages can be useful for trainers who want to provide printed copies of Online Tracker sheets for training or demo purposes.

So we have added a new feature for this request. When you log in to the Online Tracker, you’ll see a link that says “Click here for blank Online Tracker pages.” When you click the link, additional text appears, with a toggle button that enables “blank-page” mode.

When you click the button, your Online Tracker access is temporarily switched to a generic account, which everyone can see but no one can update. This means that there is no user data anywhere in the account. You can then open any of the Tracker pages and view or print them in a “fresh” condition. As a side note, all fresh pages can be viewed and printed in other languages by using the Select Language button in the upper right of the main Online Tracker screen.

To return to your regular Online Tracker account, click the toggle button again. You can also click the original link to hide the toggle button and corresponding text.

Note the sentence on the screen that says “Blank-page mode is currently off [or on].” This reminds you which account setting you are using.

We hope you enjoy the new “fresh sheet” feature in the Online Tracker!
