BYU-I Pathways and The Family History Guide: Practice Exercise Initiative

BYU-Idaho and BYU Pathways Worldwide have teamed up to provide a popular Family History Research curriculum, available online and quite affordable (as low as $81 per credit). As noted in an earlier blog post on this site, this curriculum refers to The Family History Guide as an important resource in its downloadable course handbook.

We are excited to announce a new development in the partnership between BYU-Idaho and The Family History Guide Association: the Practice Exercise Initiative. As of this writing, 19 volunteers from BYU-Idaho are participating in the Initiative, and they have already contributed over 100 practice exercises to The Family History Guide in the past 10 days. Countries with contributed exercises so far include the United States, Argentina, Australia, and Canada. Countries with exercises on the way include England, France, Germany, Jamaica, Spain, Ukraine, Wales, and various African nations. Each contributed exercise has a note at the bottom with the name of the volunteer.

We’re grateful for the enthusiasm of our volunteers and for their commitment to quality work. We hope you enjoy the new Practice Exercises in The Family History Guide – open a country page, open a Goal at the top with a lightning bolt, and look for a green dot  (beginning) or blue dot (intermediate level) on the page. Then click the title to get started.
