Goal 6: Settings


Goal 1: Change the settings for your Memories.


This Goal helps you determine the settings you use for the FamilySearch Memories app.


Choices


AChange settings for Memories.


  1. In the three-line menu (upper left), tap Settings.
  2. The following Preferences are available:
    • Enable Relationship Viewing—Let other users see how they are related to you in Family Tree.
    • Photo Gallery—Save a copy of any new photo to the library on your device (on or off).
    • Theme—Select Light, Dark, or System Default.
    • Download Memories—Download all items from your Gallery to your local device, for offline access. Tap this setting, and then tap Download.
  3. The following Notification Categories are available:
    • Downloads—Save a copy of any new photo to the library on your device (on or off).
    • Memories—Get notifications about issues with syncing memories.
    • General—Behavior (sound or display for a notification)
      Advanced: Sound (type of notification sound); Vibrate (off or on); Show notification dot (on or off); Override "Do Not Disturb" (off or on).
