RootsTech 2020 is just days away, so we thought we’d include a roundup of events for The Family History Guide Association. Here’s what to look for:

Booth #933

Stop by and see us in Booth #933, just a bit north of the FamilySearch booth. Volunteers will be on hand for demos of the website and to answer your questions. This year we are Bronze-Level Sponsors at RootsTech, so you will see our name featured in signage and programs around the building.

New this year: we will have a webcam at the booth with live pictures. You can see our booth remotely by accessing this URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-5YGIevQ6I

Mini-Classes

We will be offering an assortment of free mini-classes at the booth. Click here to see the schedule and learn more.

Demo Theater

On Friday at 10:30 a.m., Scott and Angelle Anderson will present “Discovering What The Family History Guide Has to Offer” in the Demo Theater. Come and enjoy their lively presentation and enjoy the soft seats!

Ballroom B Presentation

On Friday at 1:30 p.m. Bob Taylor will present “The Family History Guide: Learn, Search, and Succeed.” This presentation will help you understand the resources in The Family History Guide and how they can make a definite difference for you in your family history journey.

More

Our recent intern for The Family History Guide Association, Hailey Belshe, will be presenting at The DNA Basics Learning Center (Booth 1525) on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Her topic is “How can I learn more about DNA and how to use it?”
