FamilySearch has recently updated its Help and Learning section of the website. In that section there is a new page titled Family Tree Basics. The path to get to the page is as follows:

Help icon (main FamilySearch screen) > Help and Learning > Build Skills – Learn More (lower right) > Family Tree Basics

In that page, you’ll find a long list of Lesson links that point to Goal pages in The Family History Guide. Below is a sample screen shot (the links are not operational in this screen shot, but they work fine on the actual web page).
