How do kids feel about family history activities? Well, watch our newest video on The Family History Guide YouTube Channel (and on this post) to find out! Kids will tell you that family history activities are fun, easy, and by doing them you find out that ancestors are awesome! According to kids, family history activities don’t have to be boring! You can try them at home. You are going to love them! They help us remember that we are all part of a big family. Family History activities make our families stronger and united. When we learn about our ancestors, we love them more.
Some favorite activities highlighted in the video are Charades, Family History Fruit Basket, The Human Knot, and The Family History Fun Basket. You can see how all these games are played by watching videos on our YouTube Channel and you will also find descriptions in the Activities Section of The Family History Guide. The Kids Corner lists a myriad of ideas to make family history come alive for the smaller humans in our lives! These activities are written TO kids and not to parents and leaders ABOUT kids.
