Here is a list of some of the features that we added to the website in 2021:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>New QRB (Quick Research Basics) videos<\/em>\u2014These are hosted on our YouTube Channel and included in various country and research pages: Researching Records in Canada; Beginning Your Research in Canada; Researching Records in the Netherlands; Starting Your Netherlands Research; Researching Irish Records; Starting Your Irish Genealogy Research; United States World War II Records; German Records, Words, and Scripts; Germany Maps and Surnames; U.S. World War I Records; German Immigration; Finding German Records in America; England Census Records; U.S. Civil War Records; Revolutionary War Records; DNA Research, Case Studies; DNA Test Types; Intro to Research with DNA; Spain Church and Civil Registration Records; Spain Research Overview, Using Mapping Tools; Surname Mapping; United States Research Topics; England Civil Registration; Intro to European Archives (French, German, Dutch, Belgian, Italian, British, Irish); Exploring Other U.S. Records; U.S. Travel and Migration Records; U.S. Church Records; Naturalization and Passenger Records; U.S. Newspapers<\/li>\n<li><em>Print-friendly feature<\/em>\u2014A print button was added to the header area of each page. This enables you to selectively print content on any page of The Family History Guide website.<\/li>\n<li><em>Updated Show Me videos<\/em>\u2014A number of Show Me videos were update to reflect changes made in screens from FamilySearch, Ancestry, etc.<\/li>\n<li><em>Activities Planning Sheet<\/em>\u2014This is a downloadable spreadsheet with columns that help you plan and the manage family history activities you hold.<\/li>\n<li><em>Open\/Close button<\/em>\u2014This button in the header area for Projects now toggles between Open Choices and Close Choices, in the same button.<\/li>\n<li><em>500 Tips of the Day<\/em>\u2014We passed the milestone of 500 entries for Tip of the Day, with more to come.<\/li>\n<li><em>Teaching Family History with The Family History Guide, BYU webinar<\/em>\u2014This webinar was given several months ago and is available to watch on the BYU Family History Library YouTube Channel.<\/li>\n<li><em>Trainers menu, VIP and Presenting TFHG<\/em>\u2014Items were added to the Trainers menu for the new VIP (Volunteer Instructor Program) and Presenting The Family History Guide.<\/li>\n<li><em>Pass-along Cards in More Languages<\/em>\u2014Pass-along cards can now be printed in these additional languages: Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese (simplified and traditional).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the above features, links to many additional articles, videos, and databases were added across the site.
