Sometimes we have three or four generations gathered around the table. I love these moments.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We laugh, cry, marvel at the lives of tho<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">se who went before, and listen to those who are still here to tell it like it is! It is so much fun that we look forward to these family history\u00a0meetings, and when we do get together, we find it hard to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefhguide.com\/project-7-tech.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-366 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thefhguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Cousin-meeting-eating-lunch-read-stories-300x152.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"314\" height=\"159\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thefhguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Cousin-meeting-eating-lunch-read-stories-300x152.png 300w, https:\/\/www.thefhguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Cousin-meeting-eating-lunch-read-stories.png 447w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 314px) 100vw, 314px\" \/><\/a>stop talking long enough to eat our lunch!<\/span><span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><br \/>\nWe use Google Docs to collaborate &#8211; collecting information and arranging it in a timeline. From there we are constructing specific life histories on my grandmother and her siblings, and then we will work on the next generation. Right now we are working on the life story of my great aunt Maevonne whose life of service is an example to us all.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-364 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thefhguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Maevonne-Rees-Moench.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"176\" height=\"133\" \/>We are scanning and adding photos, and taping our conversations. Try FaceTime or Skype for including others in family history meetings. Cousins from all over the globe can have the option to add to conversations and feel connected. Posting on our family FB page has also been a way to share both photos and stories, and family members can comment to add their\u00a0memories. Wow &#8211; what a great tool!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Our cousin family history meetings\u00a0have become a tradition now, and one we all cherish.
