There is a new app in town and it might be just what you and your family are looking for!\u00a0FamilySearch<\/a>\u00a0announced France-based\u00a0Famicity.com<\/a>\u00a0as its newest partner in September of 2017.\u00a0Famicity<\/strong>\u00a0is a free and\u00a0fun social media app<\/strong>\u00a0(IOS and Android) and website that offers all of your\u00a0family members a\u00a0private social network<\/strong>\u00a0based on a\u00a0family tree. <\/strong>Each will have the opportunity to collaboratively tell and preserve their family story and capture the stories of children as family life happens and evolves. \u00a0\"\"New users just need to go to Famicity.com to get started. Note: for current FamilySearch users, Famicity can read and will automatically upload relevant data from your FamilySearch Family Tree. Plans are underway for a future Famicity release that will allow users to sync information between a user\u2019s Famicity and FamilySearch Accounts.<\/p>\n

To get started, users need to create a free account at Famicity.com. For FamilySearch accountholders, there will be instructions how to upload their FamilySearch information to their new Famicity account when you register.<\/p>\n
