Its scope is broad, but its focus is narrow enough to help you achieve your goals, step by step. Whether you&#8217;re brand new to family history or a seasoned researcher\u2014or somewhere in between\u2014The Family History Guide can be your difference maker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mission Statement: &#8220;Our mission is to greatly increase the number of people actively involved in family history worldwide, and to make everyone&#8217;s family history journey easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some of the unique features you&#8217;ll find on the site:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Goals for learning, supported by flexible choices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Step-by-step instructions to make learning easier<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Links to videos and articles from FamilySearch, Ancestry, and more<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>QUIKLinks that take you to record searches from multiple sources, with a single click<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training materials for self-study or group instruction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Activities for families, individuals, youth, and kids<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Family history resources for faiths, including members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Catholics, Protestants, and those of Jewish heritage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All donated funds are used for our outreach programs including RootsTech, Guided Learning, Zoom presentations and other activities. We have users in over 150 countries as well as a partnership with The National Genealogical Society (NGS). The Family History Guide was featured on the PBS program &#8220;Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid&#8221; with an audience of over 60 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All administrative costs are minimal.
