Last year, The Family History Guide Association traveled to Richmond, VA for the National Genealogical Society (NGS)\u00a0 Conference. We had an exhibitor booth there, and we met up with lots of interesting and dedicated people in the world of genealogy, We also laid the groundwork for the educational partnership between The Family History Guide Association and NGS.<\/p>\n

This year, NGS has decided to go all-virtual for the 2024 conference<\/a> so a larger percentage of their membership can attend. The virtual conference is being hosted on the Whova platform, an outstanding tool for display, collaboration, and virtual presentations. The conference dates are May 16-18, and there is a “pre-show” week where registrants can browse exhibitor booths and give comments.<\/p>\n

The Family History Guide Association is excited to be part of a group of 41 exhibitors and sponsors at the virtual conference. In the pre-show, our booth is in the top five in terms of number of views, likes, and positive comments. (Yes, it’s not a competition, but it is nice to be highly regarded!)<\/p>\n
