The Family History Guide: An Ancestry Affiliate

Recently The Family History Guide Association became an affiliate of Ancestry.com. The Ancestry affiliate program is designed for websites who are increasing awareness of Ancestry and offering viewers the opportunity to start a trial membership. When the trial is converted to a full membership, the affiliate website organization receives a commission on the membership fee. This is especially helpful for non-profit organizations such as The Family History Guide Association, who rely on donations for support and funding.

The affiliate links are contained in simple graphics. The viewer can click the graphic and follow a link to a signup page if desired.

Ancestry Affiliate Links in The Family History Guide

You can find the affiliate links in each Ancestry Project page of The Family History Guide (currently 46 pages). They are each displayed in the header area of the page. Here’s an example:

If you know someone who is considering an Ancestry subscription, let them know about the affiliate program with The Family History Guide. It’s easy to sign up, The Family History Guide Association gets a commission to support its activities, and there’s a great training and resource system built into The Family History Guide … what could be better?
